Celia Sawyer Becomes Business Advisor to Football for Peace

This month, it has been announced that business woman and TV personality Celia Sawyer has joined the Board of Advisors for global charity Football for Peace. This is a diplomatic sports movement that aims to create dialogue and unite people through football.
The non-profit organization has various high-profile supporters including HRH Prince William Duke of Cambridge who supported the ‘City for Peace’ initiative in Birmingham last year, Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho launched the India ‘City for Peace’ in Kerala with Football for Peace, aiming at raising awareness and empowering women within the region and HRH Prince Albert II of Monaco Gave his support through his own charity Peace and Sport of Monaco, expressing great interest in partnering with Football for Peace.
Celia has been asked to join the official Board of Advisors to assist with the strategy and empowerment of the charity. Celia’s media profile will also assist with substantial press and media coverage. Football for Peace is not just awareness raising, the legacy projects have long term impact within cities by making them ‘Cities for Peace’ through our Peace Matches and Tournaments embracing communities and those within them.
